Making a Presentation

Busy Business Intermediate was finally published and while still hot off the press, Mr. Kovarik and Ms. Svobodova, along with a couple of other colleagues, set off on a product launch tour around Czech and Moravian universities and colleges running Business Studies programs. They presented the book, talked to teachers and students, offered promotional materials and book samples and also sponsored the refreshments (usually one of the most appreciated points at such like events).

Below is the text of Mr. Kovarik’s presentation he delivered at Moravian Business College in Brno. Notice the presentation structure and examples of signpost language – the words and phrases that made it easier for listeners to follow the structure of his presentation.
